The care of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) was then given to Prophet Muhammed’s uncle, Abu Talib. Abu Talib fulfilled the rights due to his brother’s son (Prophet Muhammed) in the best way possible, and he brought him to live with his children, giving him preferential treatment. He also gave him many bounties and dealt with him with respect. He kept helping him for more than forty years, giving him protection, and befriending some and cutting relations with others because of him.
