“Do not think I have come to cancel the legislation or law of the Prophets. I did not come to cancel them but to complete them” [Matthew: 17]. From this gospel, we can assert that the Torah is the foundation which the Messiah completed. This is proven by scholars of the Bible itself. In this way, the news of Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) in the Torah can be considered as compelling proof, in both the Torah and the Bible, of his prophethood and the truthfulness of his claim that he was sent from Allah. This has been clarified in the previous section. An article in the British newspaper ‘The Daily Mail’ says, “Archeologists in Turkey have uncovered a rare copy of the Bible written in Aramaic which is 1500 years old. This Bible states that the Messiah (peace be upon him) said that Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) would come after him.” This discovery still preoccupies the Vatican. Pope Benedict XVI wants to have a look at the book which was kept hidden for more than twelve years. The Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Ertugrul Gunay, said, “The value of the book is 22 million dollars, and it states that the Messiah foretold the coming of Prophet Muhammed. However, the Christian church hid this Bible on purpose in the past as it was very similar to what is mentioned in the Noble Quran concerning this topic.” In one version of the gospel, the Messiah is said to have told a priest who had asked him about who would succeed him, “Muhammed is his blessed name. He is from the progeny of Ismail, the father of the Arabs” [The Daily Mail, British newspaper]. Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) is an example for us to follow, an example which Allah sent as a mercy to us [I am able to say with all my might that there is not even one new Muslim who does not feel grateful to Prophet Muhammed (peace be upon him) for the great love, help, guidance and inspiration he gave us…. He is the good example which Allah sent as a mercy to us in order for us to follow his ways] [Durany]. This is a Messenger from the Lord of the world! This is who Allah sent as a mercy to the worlds!” [Bahira]. Christian monk who lived at the time of the Messenger (peace be upon him)
